Psychotherapy for Personal Growth
I strive to focus my practice with the understanding that many of the issues with which we struggle do not fit into neat categories, nor do they always lend themselves to simple and singular interventions. I have found that those with whom I work best are clients who seek resolution to conflicts (both internal and external, old and new) to gain more freedom, agency, purpose, and authenticity.
I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Philosophy from the University of Utah, and my Master’s in Social Work from BSU. My experience studying, researching, and teaching Philosophy has given me a broad lens from which to view each individual and tailor my approach to their unique needs.
Whether the challenge is past trauma, personal struggles, and/or obstacles in relationships, I incorporate multiple therapeutic approaches – from Psychodynamic Therapy to Existential Psychotherapy to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – to achieve our goals. I very much look forward to working with you.
